No one could be certain of what happened during that finaly battle between Angel and his allies, and the massive armies of the Senior Partners, but one thing is clear: the underworld is spreading. Reaching out to all corners of the Earth from that starting point in Los Angeles, there is no part of the world remained untouched. The tropical isles of Hawaii, the fridged regions of northern Europe, the high-rise skyscrapers of New York - Everywhere.
Since, vampires, werewolves and more powerful entities alike have found their niches within the living population, far more known by their mortal counterparts than in years past. While they were once myths and creatures of lore, a vampire may very well be the bartender serving you a drink while the nurse at the hospital could use her vacation time to deal with an unfortunate onset of lycanthrope. It goes by without a hitch for the most part, the supernatural policed by the very same authoritating over the living, but that doesn't mean danger doesn't lie any the dark corners and back alleys of the streets.
With a new year just over the horizon and a rumored apocalyse at the end from the words of Nostradamus himself, both sides, good in those aligned with the Slayers and the evil within the wall of Wolfram & Hart New York, are pulling together their numbers and finding allies in the most unlikely of places in lieu of a pending battle. When the war finally hits, which side will you be on? |
